Then he attended Brigham Young University in 1971 and received an undergraduate degree. He received a Law degree from Harvard Law School and an MBA degree from Harvard Business School.

Romney began his career in business and worked as a management consultant for a variety of companies. Then he founded the investment firm Bain Capital in 1984. Romney came into the national limelight in 1999, when he was selected as the president of the Salt Lake Organizing Committee. His Olympics success converted into politics when he was elected governor of Massachusetts in 2003. At their first meeting, Romney and Ann Davies fell in love and Romney began attending Brigham Young University, where Ann Davies had been studying eventually they decided to get married. Finally, Romney married Ann Davies on March 21, 1969, in a civil ceremony in Bloomfield Hills; and they have five sons, Tagg, Matt, Josh, Ben, and Craig.
