Andrew Kishore is a Bangladeshi popular and well-known singer who active in the music industry of the country since the 1980s. He is considered a playback king in the country, the singer already played back 15,000 songs.
Alongside Bangla films, he played back in Urdu and Hindi films. ‘Jiboner Golpo Achhe Baki Olpo’, and ‘Dak Diyachhen Doyal Amare’ are noteworthy single tracks of the singer. He won the National Film Award eight times for his outstanding contribution to the music industry.

Andrew Kishore was born on November 04, 1955, in Rajshahi, Bangladesh. He was born in a Christian family to parents Khitish Chandra Baroi and Minu Baroi. Kishore has two siblings Dr. Shikha Biswas and Peter Swapon Kumar Baroi.
He received a Master of Commerce in Management from Rajshahi University in 1977. Kishore was very passionate about media in his early life and eventually take a lesson in music from Abdul Aziz Bachchu, later who became the chief music director of Rajshahi Betar.

Andrew Kishore enlisted in radio as a singer in Nazrul, Tagore, modern, folk, and patriotic songs categories. He made a debut in the film industry as a playback singer in the movie ‘Mail Train’ for the song ‘Ochinpurer Rajkumari Nei Je Tar Keu’.
The talented singer got his first fame for the song ‘Ek Chor Jay Chole’ in the movie ‘Protigga’ in 1979. Then he never looks back on his career, in his long career give lots of heart-touching songs to the listeners. Andrew Kishore has a production house that produces drama and television commercials.
Personal Life:
Andrew Kishore tied the knot with Lipika Andrew (Eti) who is an engineer. The couple has two children named Jay Andrew (Saptok) and Minim Andrew (Songa).
Treatment & Death:
After being diagnosed with cancer, Andrew Kishore got a check of BDT 10 lac from Prime Minister of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina for better treatment in Singapore. The legendary singer Kishore died of cancer on July 6, 2020, at a clinic in Rajshahi at 64 years old.
