Bidisha Ershad was born on March 6, 1971, in Rajshahi, Bangladesh, and grew up in the city. Her father Abu Bakar Siddique was a professor at Rajshahi University and her early life passed at the Rajshahi University campus. She was passionate about fashion in her early life and studied fashion design in Singapore.

Ershad falls in love with the beautiful lady in 2005 and the duo met in England for the first time. The couple married this year after a short courtship, she is more than 40 years younger than Ershad. But their huge age gap could not stop their affection for each other.
Hussain Muhammad Ershad loved her very much and gave a ring to Bidisha which the Saudi King gifted the Ershad. She has a son named Eric Ershad from her second marriage with Hussain Muhammad Ershad. Earlier Bidisha Ershad married an England citizen Peter Wings.
