Qasem Soleimani was born on March 11, 1957, in Qanat-e Malek, Kerman, Iran to parents Hassan Soleimani and Fatemeh Soleimani. He was born in an impoverished family and passed a humble early life. His father was a farmer died in 2017.

Qasem Soleimani was killed by the American Military Force under the direction of President Donald Trump. On January 3, 2020, the Pentagon confirmed the US military killed General Qassem Soleimani near Baghdad International Airport by missiles shot from American drones targeted his convoy.
