Meerjady Sabrina Flora enrolled in Dhaka Medical College in 1983 and completed a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degree. Then she started jobs for several multinational institutions. She studied at the National Institute of Preventive and Social Medicine (NIPSOM) and completed her master’s degree in epidemiology. Finally, she received a Ph.D. degree from the University of Cambridge.

In 2016, Meerjady Sabrina Flora was appointed as the director of the IEDCR. Earlier, she worked for the Bangladesh Medical Research Council as the Assistant Director for three years. Then she joined NIPSOM as the Assistant Professor of the Department of Epidemiology.
