Barrister Sheikh Fazle Noor Taposh is a Bangladeshi politician, lawyer, Mayor of South Dhaka, and former member of parliament from the Dhaka-12 constituency. He is a practicing lawyer in the Bangladesh Supreme Court and the highest taxpayer lawyer in Bangladesh.
In fact, he comes to the timeline across the country when his elder brother Sheikh Fazle Shams Parash was elected Chairman of the Bangladesh Jubo League, a youth wing of the Bangladesh Awami League. He became the Mayor of the Dhaka South City Corporation in the 2020 city corporation election as the first lawyer.

Sheikh Fazle Noor Taposh was born on November 19, 1971, in Dhaka, Bangladesh to parents Sheikh Fazlul Haque Mani and Arzu Moni. His father was the founder of the Bangladesh Jubo League and his mother was a housewife.
His parents were assassinated on August 15, 1975, with Bangabandhu Shiekh Mujibur Rahman and other members of his family. He completed Bar at Law and has been practicing as a prominent lawyer in Bangladesh.

After completing education, Barrister Sheikh Fazle Noor Taposh joined Bangladesh Awami League politics. In 2008, he became a member of parliament from the Dhaka-12 constituency. In his political career, he faces two bomb attacks one in 2009 and another in 2015. He raises questions over the extrajudicial killings of the Rapid Action Battalion.
