Greg Olsen is an American National League football player. He played a role at the tight end position for the Carolina Panthers. At the University of Miami, Olsen played college football and later he called by the team Chicago Bears for the first round of 2007 NFL Draft.

Greg Olsen Early Life:

Greg Olsen was born March 11, 1985, in Paterson, New Jersey, United State to Chris Olsen, Sr. and Sue. Olsen studied at Wayne Hills High School where he played football and basketball. He was passionate about basketball and football and played these games under his father’s instruction. Olsen admitted at the University of Notre Dame but as a freshman, he transferred himself to the University of Miami in 2003. During the time, he suffered from a shoulder injury.

Olsen Career:

Greg Olsen started professional NFL career with the sign of Chicago Bears for the five years. On September 23, 2007, Greg Olsen made his debut in the NFL against the Dallas Cowboys. He ends up the season with the two touchdowns and 39 receptions for 391 yards. In the 2014 NFL, he performed as one of the best tight ends who had 14 receptions and finished the year with the high 84 catches.  In the season 2015, Carolina Panthers has extended the contract with Olsen for the next three years. He completed the regular season 2015 with the 77 receptions.

Personal Life:

Greg Olsen formed a foundation to help the cancer research by the inspiration of his mother; she is the long-time cancer survivor.  He got married to Kara Olsen, the couple has a son, Tate Christian.
