He was so much passionate about the media arena from his early life and eventually left his home to Dhaka in 1977, to pursue a career in the showbiz industry. Salauddin joined Aranyak Natyadal Theatre and used to participate in the stage show. After launching Bangladesh Television (BTV), he started acting in several dramas.
