Then she also won the ‘Miss USA 2012’ Pageant which was held on June 3, 2012. The city of Cranston, Rhode Island arranged a homecoming celebration honoring Culpo for her pageant win on July 6, 2012.
Olivia represented the USA at the ‘Miss Universe 2012 Pageant’ that was held on December 19, 2012, in Nevada. There she was crowned ‘Miss Universe 2012’ becoming the first winner from the USA to obtain the crown since Brook Lee in 1997.
Olivia also became the first Rhode Islander to win the “Miss Universe” title and succeeded outgoing titleholder, Leila Lopes, from Angola.
The successful model then participated in several competitions around the world and won many titles including ‘Puteri Indonesia 2013’. She has traveled to many beautiful courtiers during her reigns like India, Canada, Russia, and England as well as numerous trips around the USA.
