Chhavi Pandey was born on July 18, 1994, in Bihar, India to Umesh Kumar Pandey, a retired government employee and Geeta Pandey, a homemaker. She enrolled at St.Joseph’s Convent High School and later completed her graduation in Sociology from Magadh Mahila College. Pandey has learned Kathak, Indian classical dance and also learned classical music and light music.

She first made an appearance on the screen in ‘India’s Got Talent Season 1’ on Colors in 2008 which was a turning point for her.
