Her family shifted to New York when she was only one year old. After completing her schooling, she received her graduate degree in Graphic Designing from Briarcliffe College.

After finishing her graduation, Ariana Ayam started her career as a graphic designer in New York. During that time, her friend Adhyayan Suman who is a Bollywood actor offered her to act in her short film. She received this offer very heartily and starred in that short film which opened the way for her to enter into Bollywood movie.
Ariana Ayam made her film debut with medical thriller film ‘Heartless’ directed by Shekhar Suman which was released worldwide on February 7, 2014. In the movie, Shekhar Suman also starred along with his son Adhyayan Suman where Ariana Ayam played the lead role as Ria with Deepti Naval, Madan Jain, and Om Puri. The movie focuses on anesthesia but several critics have noticed striking similarities between it and Hollywood medical thriller movie ‘Awake’ that was released in 2007. So, the movie received mixed reviews from the critics and audiences.
