Birla Foundation Higher Secondary School and completed her secondary education at the Institute. Later, the actress graduated with an honors degree in Microbiology from the Scottish Church College, Kolkata. She was crowned as the winner of ‘Clean & Clear Calcutta Times Fresh Face’ in 2011.

The charming actress made her acting debut in the showbiz industry with Srijit Mukherji’s adventure thriller film ‘Mishawr Rawhoshyo’ alongside Prosenjit Chatterjee and Aryann Bhowmik in 2013. The movie became one of the biggest hits of 2013 and gained strong reviews from the audience and critics.
Next year, she appeared in two other Bengali movies ‘Jodi Love Dile Na Prane’ as Aaheli and ‘Khaad’ as Meghna. In ‘Khaad’, she acted with Pallavi Chatterjee and Ardhendu Banerjee and those movies got popularity.
