Nikki Haley is a former governor of South Carolina and the 29th United States ambassador to the United Nations. She is the first Indian-American who has been serving in the post. She was the first female governor of South Carolina. President Donald Trump appointed her as the U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations on November 23, 2016. Time Magazine named her among ‘The Most Influential People’ in 2016.
Haley draws wide media attention when Michael Wolff author of ‘Fire and Fury’ claimed that she carried on an affair with President Donald Trump. But Haley strongly denied this allegation and has been passing more than 21 years of married life as the mother of two children. Wolff claimed Donald Trump has been passed the private time with Haley on Air Force One. But Haley told politico “when I was on Air Force One, there were several people in the room”.
The White House called it a ‘book full of lies’ and Trump has slammed the book as ‘phony’.
