Neeti Mohan was born on November 18, 1979, in Delhi, India to Brijmohan and Kusum. She is elder among her four sisters. Her sister Shakti is the winner of ‘Dance India Dance’ aired on Zee TV and her another sister Mukti Mohan was a part of the winning team Masakali Girls on the dance show ‘Zara Nachke Dikha’ on Star Plus. She also has another sister named Kriti Mohan. Neeti has been graduated in Philosophy from Delhi’s Miranda House.
Neeti Mohan Career:
After becoming the winner of the show ‘Pop Star’, Neeti Mohan made her film debut with ‘Socha Na Tha’ directed by Imtiaz Ali in 2005. In 2015, she appeared in black comedy ‘Naanum Rowdy Dhaan’ along with Vijay Sathupathi and Nayanthara. Next year, the actress also starred in Nitya Mehra’s romantic movie ‘Baar Baar Dekho’ with Katrina Kaif and Sidharth Malhotra.
Neeti made her singing debut in Bollywood with ‘Ishq Wala Love’ for the movie Student of the Year opposite Shekhar Ravjiani and Salim Merchant in 2012. She ended the year 2012 with the popular song ‘Jiya Re’ for Jab Tak Hai Jaan. Both the songs earned her various nominations as well as some awards at the various awards functions.
Neeti started the year 2013 with ‘Saadi Galli Aaja’ for the movie Nautanki Saala opposite Ayushman Khurana. The singer also gave her voice to the remixed versions of her songs – ‘Ishq Wala Love’ and ‘Saddi Galli Aaja’. Later Neeti sang the super hit song ‘Kashmir Main Tu Kanyakumari’ for Chennai Express opposite Sunidhi Chauhan and Arijit Singh.
In 2014, Neeti sang ‘Tune Maari Entriyaan’ for Gunday, ‘Khamakhan’ for Bewakoofiyan opposite Ayushman Khurana and ‘India Waale’ opposite Vishal Dadlani. Later she also sang the title track ‘Bang Bang’ for the film Bang Bang! opposite Benny Dayal.
