She is of African-American descent from her father’s side and Italian and Hungarian descent from her mother’s side. Halsey has two younger brothers named Sevian and Dante.

Then she started work with the English pop-rock band The Kooks in 2014 and builds up a relationship with Norwegian producer Lido.
Following a year, she released her debut studio album ‘Badlands’ on August 28, 2015, and spread out her fame largely. Then Halsey made an outstanding singing performance in her second studio album ‘Hopeless Fountain Kingdom’ in 2017.
