Aamina Sheikh was born on August 29, 1981, in New York City, United States. She was born in a well-established family, her paternal side family members were related to textile business but her father Abdul Sheikh was a chemist. Being inspired by the father, she wanted to be a pharmacist.
Aamina grew up in Karachi, Pakistan and took the primary education from Mama Parsi School. Then she admitted into American International School and received the secondary education from the school.
