In his personal life, Stephen Hawking married two times. He met Jane Wilde, a young girl at a New Year’s party in 1963, just before he had been diagnosed with ALS, later the couple married in 1965. Together they gave birth to a son named Robert in 1957, and a daughter named Lucy in 1970. Their third child comes in 1979.
