Aditi Rao Hydari is an Indian film actress who works in the Hindi and Tamil films. She is one of the hot and glamorous actresses in India. Firstly, she did not get enough opportunity in acting but when she got the scope, Hydari showed off splendid performance and won the hearts’ of her fans as well as directors and producers. Now the actress is equally popular both in Hindi and Tamil showbiz industry.

Aditi Rao Hydari was born on October 28, 1978, Hyderabad, India to a royal family. Her late father Ehsaan Hydari was a Muslim while the mother is a Hindu. She is the granddaughter of Akbar Hydari and the grand niece of Muhammad Saleh Akbar Hydari, former Governor of Assam. Well-known filmmaker Kiran Rao is her maternal cousin.
Her maternal grandparents Raja J Rameshwar Rao, was the administrator of the state Wanaparthy, and Shanta Rameshwar Rao is much-respected educationalist in the city of Hyderabad and the chairperson of publishing house Orient Blackswan. Rao did her schooling at Rishi Valley School and successfully graduated from Lady Shri Ram College, University of Delhi.
Aditi Rao Career:
Aditi Rao Hydari made her film debut with the Malayalam movie ‘Prajapathi’ directed by Ranjit in 2006. In the movie, she played the lead role of a Devadasi, a girl dedicated to worship and service of a temple for the rest of her life, alongside Mammootty and Sandhya and her exceptional performance got positive reviews from critics.
Next year, she appeared in Tamil movie ‘Sringaram’ alongside Manoj K. and Jayan Hamsa Moily directed by debutante Sharada Ramanathan. The movie was based on the life of a Devadasi during the 1920s; it got huge acclaim, winning three prizes at the ‘53rd National Film Awards’.
Hydari’s fame rose up after the performance in Sudhir Mishra’s romantic thriller movie ‘Yeh Saali Zindagi’ in 2009. In it, she played an important role Shanti and won the ‘Screen Award’ in the Best Supporting Actress category. The hot actress then subsequently appeared in several successful Bollywood films including ‘Rockstar’, ‘Murder 3’, ‘Khoobsurat’ and ‘Fitoor’.
Recently Aditi Rao Hydari is filming two Hindi movies ‘Aur Devdas’ and ‘Padmavati’ and a Tamil movie ‘Kaatru Veliyidai’. She is also a classical Bharatanatyam dancer and trained under Leela Samson.

Aditi Rao Hydari married a lawyer and civil servant Satyadeep Mishra in 1999 but the couple is currently separated. She is now dating with actor Sidharth Malhotra and Arunodhay Singh but Hydari did not confirm the rumors.
