Tamar Braxton is an American singer and television personality. In 2000, she started her music career by signing with a company but she did not have enough commercial success in her early career life. After a long break, Braxton re-launched her career in 2013. Tamar Braxton was born on March 17, 1977, in Maryland, United State. Her father Michael Braxton was a pastor in the local church and her mother Evelyn Braxton was an amateur opera singer. Tamar Braxton was the youngest of the six children of parents and she started singing as a toddler. Braxton’s children frequently would join the church choir.

Tamar Braxton along with other five sisters signed with the music company Arista Records in 1989. Following the year, they released their first single ‘Good Life’ but the album was commercially unsuccessful, subsequently, Tamar Braxton dropped from Arista Records.
In 1996, she made her debut in the music industry with the album ‘So Many Ways’. In 2000, Tamar Braxton signed with DreamWorks Records and in the same year, Tamar released a self-titled album. But unfortunately, the album was not commercially boastful.

At first in 2001, she married songwriter and music producer Darrell Allamby. After two years their marriage life ends up, and they divorced in 2003. In the same year, she began dating Vincent Herbert whom Tamar met through a sister, a record executive. The couple married on November 27, 2008. She gave birth to a boy on June 6, 2013, named Logan Vincent Herbert. In 2019, they got divorced.
A year later in 2020, she started dating David Adefeso, a financial adviser. This year, she was hospitalized due to a suicide attempt. David filed a restraining order over Tamar Braxton for the cause of domestic violence.
