Shadman Islam was born on May 18, 1995, in Dhaka, Bangladesh in a family loaded with athletes. His father Shahidul Islam was a BCB’s most prominent age group scouts for a long time. He developed an interest in cricket at an early age and intended to study at BKSP. Being inspired by his father he comes to the cricket world.
Shadman Islam Career:
Shadman Islam scored a maiden List A century in May 2017 in the 2016-17 Dhaka Premier Divison Cricket League as an Abahani Limited player. He was a leading run-scorer in the 2017-18 Bangladesh Cricket League for Central Zone. He draws huge media attention when he was named for Chittagon Vikings in the 2018-19 BPL.
However, Shadman was named to Bangladesh Test Squad for the series against West Indies in 2018. In 2019, he was selected for the test team against Afghanistan replacing hard hitter Tamim Iqbal but he out without adding any run to the scoreboard in the Chittagong test.
