Christopher Asher Wray is a well-known American lawyer. Wray is currently holding the post of head of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. He also served as Assistant Attorney General of the Criminal Division in the George W. Bush Administration. Following the firing of James Comey, President Donald Trump disclosed his intention to nominate him as the next Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation on June 7, 2017.
On August 2, 2017, Wray was officially confirmed for the post and following a day, he was sworn in by Attorney General Jeff Sessions. Trump also squares off with Christopher A. Wray like the previous director.
