Malala Yousafzai is a Pakistani schoolgirl, blogger, the ever youngest Nobel Prize recipient, and internet activist who gets global recognition when she was shot by Taliban gunmen. She is known for holding a voice against the Taliban’s forbidding women from education in her region Swat Valley. Undoubtedly, she is the ever most well-known youngest girl in the world.

Early Life:

Malala was born in a Muslim family on 12 July 1997 in Swat Valley, Pakistan to Ziauddin Yousafzai her father, who is a poet and educational activist. She lived in Mingora with her parents and two younger brothers.

Malala Yousafzai Career:

Malala Yousafzai is a fighter for woman’s education rights. She wrote some articles in the BBC blog favor in of girls’ education where the Taliban had at times banned girls from attending school which brought a catastrophe in her life. Only at the age of 11, she started blogging at BBC blog against Taliban attempts.

On October 9, 2012, Malala was shot by Taliban gunmen on a school bus when she was on her way home from school. Taliban’s assassination attempts failed, but she was critically injured and a little more unconscious after her surgery in Pakistan’s hospital. Then she was sent to a hospital in the United Kingdom for intensive rehabilitation. She is now staying here.

Awards:
Malala Yousafzai was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize jointly with Kailash Satyarthi on 10 October 2014. She has been chosen for International Children’s Peace Prize by Desmond Tutu. She achieved Pakistan’s National Youth Peace Prize in 2011.
